About the Program:

The Ed.D. program will prepare you to take the helm in a variety of educational settings. In the K–12 Leadership emphasis, you’ll qualify to sit for the Praxis SSA and earn your Michigan Central Office Certificate. In the Higher Education Leadership emphasis, you’ll gain the credentials to lead at the university or college level. In both paths, you’ll build expertise in:

Educational Leadership, Master of Arts

Learn what it takes to lead diverse educational organizations—and make them better.

About the Program:

Gain the skills you need to lead and inspire across all educational settings. To further refine your focus, choose from a concentration in Charter School Leadership or in Supervision. Whichever track you select, you will engage in performance-based learning and build expertise in areas such as:

Program Outcomes:

You’ll earn your Master of Arts degree and qualify for the Michigan Administrator Certificate through the Michigan Department of Education, a requirement for state principals. You will graduate with the skills and qualifications to lead in settings such as:
